Skoda Felicia fuel consumption

Of all Skoda Felicia modifications produced from 1995 to 2001 real fuel consumption according to user ratings is similar compared to advertised consumption. For petrol engines real consumption is in average 5% higher, but for diesel engines is similar to manufacturer's stated consumption. Starting from 1995 Skoda Felicia average difference between actual owner-reported fuel consumption and stated consumption was less than industry average, at 1997 it was similar to average, at 1998 difference became slightly above industry average and finally at 1999 difference between owner-reported and advertised fuel economy became less than industry average.
