Toyota Avensis fuel consumption
Of all Toyota Avensis modifications produced from 1997 to 2018 real fuel consumption according to user ratings is approximately 11% higher compared to advertised consumption. For petrol engines real consumption is in average 7% higher, but for diesel engines is approximately 16% higher. Starting from 1997 Toyota Avensis average difference between actual owner-reported fuel consumption and stated consumption was less than industry average, at 2004 it was similar to average, at 2006 difference between owner-reported and advertised fuel economy became less than industry average.
