Toyota Land Cruiser fuel consumption
Of all Toyota Land Cruiser modifications produced from 1985 to 2021 real fuel consumption according to user ratings is approximately 11% higher compared to advertised consumption. For petrol engines real consumption is in average 4% higher, but for diesel engines is approximately 18% higher. Starting from 1990 Toyota Land Cruiser average difference between actual owner-reported fuel consumption and stated consumption was similar to average, at 2003 it was less than industry average, at 2009 difference became similar to average and finally at 2016 difference between owner-reported and advertised fuel economy became less than industry average.
